You’ve got Metro.
The Duke is located along the 1300 block of Duke Street in the Historic District of Old Town Alexandria. Close proximity to the Potomac River and Washington, DC has made the location desirable since 1749, the year Old Town was settled. Today’s settlers of The Duke have even more to look forward to. The King Street Metro is just a few blocks away. The Beltway and new Wilson Bridge are literally around the corner. Reagan National Airport is less than five miles away and Capitol Hill is less than ten. Of course, the best part about living at The Duke is measuring destinations in steps, not miles. Whole Foods, Misha’s, Vermillion, and Kingsbury Handmade Chocolates, to name a few, are all an easy walk away.
